Отмечается, что важными сопутствующими преимуществами добычи и утилизации метана из угольных пластов являются значительное снижение риска неконтролируемых выбросов на поверхности земли, более эффективная эксплуатация газовых ресурсов (которые в противном случае становятся отходами) и сокращение выбросов парниковых газов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article analyzes the world experience in assessing the state of methane release from coal seams and the possibilities of its use for the country’s economy in the development of gas resources.
