Financial technologies in the global world: the main development trends

Abstract
In the global world, in the context of the digital transformation of the economy and society, there is a rapid development of financial technologies, the importance of which cannot be overestimated. The article is devoted to issues related to the study of the definition of «financial technologies», global trends in the development of financial technologies and the assessment of the effects of their adaptation. The interrelation of trends in the development of technology, business, and financial technologies is shown, and the area of their mutual intersection is revealed. The description is given, the features and advantages of key international trends in the field of financial technologies for 2024 are considered, examples of adaptation of trends from international practice are given and their possible effects are commented on.
