Personnel shortage of industrial production: causes, consequences and solutions

This article examines the pressing issue of personnel shortages that have arisen in many sectors and areas of the country at the current stage of Russia’s socioeconomic development. This problem has been particularly acute in both civilian and defense industrial complex (DIC) industries. To address this issue, the key cause-and-effect relationships have been identified and mechanisms for overcoming the labor shortage have been proposed in accordance with recommendations from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, provisions adopted by the state program «Priority», the federal educational project «Professionalism», the national project «Personnel», others.
