Formation of a special methodology for ensuring economic security in the context of global challenges

Abstract

The challenges of the 21st century necessitate an update to existing approaches for economic security ensuring. The evolutionary mechanisms of the economy, derived from a humanistic, anthropocentric worldview. are shaping new trends in the global economy. In this context, theoretical and methodological foundation for economic security ensuring represents modern scientific research fundamental direction.

Thе article examines conceptual directions approaches to economic security ensuring and substantiates the need for specialized methodologies development, capable of providing comprehensive analysis and threats forecasting economic systems of various hierarchy, from macroeconomic to corporate. Methodological support principles in economics are formulated, including program-targeted approach, strategic planning institutions establishment and adaptability necessity. Specialized methodologies concept explored as a theoretical and practical economic security framework, with its core functions identified: diagnostic, prognostic, projectanalytical, and communicative.

The methodological toolkit is presented, encompassing technological foresight for analyzing innovation trends, systems analysis for economy’s cascade effects identification and econometric modeling methods for forecasting and management decisions development. It is demonstrated that specialized methodology is not merely an auxiliary analytical tool but modern conditions' economic security framework central element. It enables a shift from reactive responses to proactive strategic planning through interdisciplinary approaches synergy.
