Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Russia. Within the current economic framework of the Russian Federation, PPPs are regarded as a crucial tool for developing the healthcare sector. They are seen as a mechanism that facilitates the modernization of the material and technical infrastructure of medical institutions, the integration of advanced therapeutic methods, and the improvement of both accessibility and quality of medical services. This study presents an analytical overview of PPP projects in Russia’s healthcare sector. The primary aim is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current landscape of PPP initiatives in domestic healthcare, identify barriers hindering their effective implementation, and develop scientifically grounded recommendations to overcome these challenges. The analysis highlights significant growth in PPP initiatives, exemplified by the case of Moscow. However, to address regional disparities and promote widespread adoption of PPP models in healthcare, the development of a systematic state support program for these projects at the federal level is necessary.
